What’s this about?
In June and July 2023, I created a challenge—for you, but mostly for myself—to write at least 200 words a day for 30 days. It was intended to be help me reenergize my writing practice.
Each day for 31 days, I shared a micro-essay of approximately 200 words, with a prompt to help springboard readers’ writings. When the month was over I shared ten lessons learned during the challenge.
Whether you played along or not, here's a round-up of all 31 prompts you can use whenever you want. Even though the challenge is over, I encourage you to share your responses to the prompts, whatever they inspire you to write about, in the comments for the respective prompt. Use each prompt literally or let it be a launching point to take you into other thoughts and ideas. Have fun with them!
The essay-prompts are followed here by the lessons learned. All can be revisited at any time or dipped into, as needed. NOW GO WRITE!
